  2. I have this problem as well. I think it might be the issue I posted about a few minutes ago in another thread - that for those of us just updating from the legacy Android EN, the new version does not recognize our old default notebook as the default notebook, hence we have no default notebook. I think most of these issues with creating new notes, "clipping" and tagging will resolve once we have identified a default notebook. My understanding is this cannot be done in the EN Android app, but only in Evernote for the Web.
  3. I'm in the same boat - tearing my hair out. I'm wondering - do these same issues occur on the EN iOS version for iPhones, iPad Minis and iPads? I hate the thought of switching as I'm pretty heavily invested in Android, but with upwards of 27,000 notes, I'm thinking it may be worth it to have at least one Apple device, assuming EN wrote a better version for Apple devices. Years ago, they used to say, EN was much more Apple-friendly. Maybe that carried over to the big rewrite. If there are any Apple users out there, could you comment, please? I also want to point out that this issue of not being able to create new notes (which I'm experiencing as well) was raised back in 2021 (I posted and others posted) and created support tickets. The response from EN was that it was a known issue, they were working on a fix, and in the meantime the workaround involved renaming the old default notebook in EN for the Web. I haven't tried that yet, but I plan to tomorrow. The issue was the new version did not recognize the old default notebook as the new default notebook, so essentially there is no default notebook in Android EN. What I'm finding is that if I'm trying to create a note in NOTES (previously ALL NOTES), I can't do it, but if I create a new notebook or go to any existing notebook, I can create notes there. For now, I created a new notebook and I'm successfully creating new notes in that notebook. I plan to move those notes to my old default notebook once I can get the Android app to recognize it as my default notebook. Other issues I'm having - almost impossible to add multiple tags in Android EN. I've found a very slow way to do it (I have hundreds of tags), but I'm hoping once the default notebook is established, it might resolve. Another issue is the share from Chrome (web clipper function) is not working. Everything I dreaded about leaving the legacy Android version has come true.

  5. Since the excellently functioning legacy version was discontinued, I've been struggling with the half-finished V10 on my Galaxy S22! I have set up 3 notebooks for offline sync and have been waiting for SEVERAL days for them to come completely offline. Unfortunately so far without success! These 3 notebooks have a total of just 300 entries, so nothing that should take that long Does anyone else have this problem besides me? If yes, how did you solve it?
  6. 例えば「えんぴつ」と打とうとすると、 ええんぴつ となってしまいます。 「ボールペン」と打とうとしたときには、 ボールペン と入力できます。
  7. Do you work for Evernote? I keep seeing your posts in support of bad software practices... don't force me to login on a web browser and download an upgrade. What decade is this? The UX for upgrades is WELL defined by thousands of software packages. giving me a login screen on my app, having me input my user name THEN telling me the client is NOT supported, THEN making me go to a web browser is quite literally software insanity. Meanwhile, this is maybe the 3rd time in less than a month.
  8. I spent. bit of time today figuring out how to sort by a table column until I finally did some web searches and learned the feature just isn't part of Evernote As noted above, adding sorting especially and filtering would be most welcome. Those are basic features people have come. to expect from tables. Adding sorting should be a high priority task going forward.
  9. I recently experienced the same problem, my old version 6.25 not syncing suddently. logout and re-login then "can't connect to server". Updated to version 10 resolved the issue.
  10. I can see your post i give you my best please see below and follow the information step by step. To “Select All” text in Evernote on an iPhone: Ensure the note is in Edit mode. Tap once in a space between words or at the end of a paragraph to place the cursor. Long-press in this blank space. A menu will appear with the “Select All” command I hope my suggestion is helpful for you. If you want more information please tell me. Best Regard, ryan1969
  11. 🙋‍♂️ I do! I like it. 😃
  13. Thank you so much for sharing. You have a great blog post. I am confused about one thing though. If that is the font Evernote uses, why does it show up as "Sans Serif" on Evernote?
  14. I'll miss tasks right in my face when I open the app, what I won't miss is waiting 3 minutes for my tasks to sync.
  15. Staff has a big Staff badge, and they post rather infrequently on here.
  16. Sorry, I made a mistake. I wondered you are a staff of Evernote.
  17. I’m sure whatever is decided I’ll find something to be grumpy about 😀, but I’ll make do and carry on.
  18. Advice stands. It’s not like the world’s problems are getting solved here. Or it’s going to affect your credit score.
  19. If anyone hasn't yet noticed https://help.evernote.com has been completely revamped!! Also the new ticket flow has been completely overhauled.
  20. This is what he said. I guess I read between the lines a little. Sorry if I mislead, but it sounds like where he is going.
  21. I’m pretty sure that was on the version I originally posted about. I’m surprised he mentioned speed issues. I can’t say that I’ve noticed that personally. I wish they would work on stability. It seems to reboot often and many times search gets stuck, won’t respond, and I have to close and restart.
  22. Fair point. It would mean an employee reading through posts and just creating internal tickets for other employees to work on... which is essentially the same operation as users having issues and creating their own tickets. Hopefully Evernote will even out soon and we won't need reassurances.
  23. It looks like they added that bar on the bottom to provide faster access to calendar and tasks. I'd like to see scratch pad implemented somewhere. I think Federico was saying on X that the speed issues with the mobile app are related to the home dashboard and widgets.
