  2. It's not academic. There are lots of practical reasons why you would want to know the overall library size. I am about to export everything (about 30000 notes most with attachments and most in one notebook) as a backup using evernote-backup (https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup) and I'm not sure it will fit on my drive. It would be nice to know before wasting time.
  3. All the fixing of issues and the creation of new features that the Evernote teams may be working on though does not address the issue of "attitude". To write code which changes the appearance of something, and then distribute it as the default setting for everybody - without the option to remove it - that is arrogance. We have had many examples of this over the years from Evernote. A few weeks ago when the increased line spacing appeared on my screens, I had a monkey on each shoulder. One monkey was shouting that the arrogance-gene within Evernote is strongest while the other monkey was whispering that Evernote will listen to its customers and give them the options. I went with the shouting monkey, left and tansferred my notes to UpNote. It's too late for me but for the sake of the people who are still subscribing to Evernote I hope that Evernote changes and the whispering monkey can be correct.

  5. What I mean is other calendar apps (I use a Mac) - such as macOS and iOS' native Calendar, or Fantastical - can connect to my work MS Exchange (Outlook) Calendar and read and create events without needing to ask for permission. I use those apps to manage my calendar events without problems. How are Evernote's calendar privileges different?
  6. This will make that one guy with his notes trapped in Apple Notes very happy! It looks like it's going to support docx, HTML, txt, and md plus OneNote, Notion, and Google Docs.
  7. Maybe some good news here on X. Tagging @janndk to maybe give him some hope that they have a Reliability & Performance team. Time will tell if they live up to their name or if it's just one guy in a basement with a can of Red Bull and some Doritos.
  8. I've gotten a few likes and responses from both the Evernote account and Federico.
  9. This is a BEAUTIFUL thing- they finally brought back a feature that was a big deal in Legacy. Here's how I will use it- I use an EN note to store all data about a service call for my company. I have 6 different sections that contain data. Depending on the amount- the note can get quite long. I have created a bar at the top of my note. Each of the sections isw formatted as a Medium Header. I have then created links for each of those sections and now I can jump directly to that section without having to scroll. WONDERFUL!
  10. I just saw your other post and deleted it. Please no double posting. Continue here with any more questions.

I need to figure out how to go into my account which I cannot even do because I get the logo without any login information cannot do. I fear someone has corrupted my account but I sure would like to get it back with the correct email
  12. I don't know if it has been fully implemented yet, but it was announced a week ago as "coming soon." See this thread, with various comments:
  13. I can buy that at the bottom of a note. But why all the added internal space between lines? More comfy, more ergonomic, blah blah. But quite a number of people are not looking for a cat experience with a note-taking app: something that is comfy and cute to look at it, and completely unresponsive to your wishes. We'd rather have a dog experience: faithful, obedient, loving, and loyal. It may even be homely; but it will go get your sheep when you tell it to. Does it seem to you that they pay any attention to feedback on X?
  14. @agsteele, I think you would know this: Is there still a beta testing program? I would think that that would be the logical venue for "work in the earliest stages of development," not a random group of increasingly mystified users. Hopefully it will have some purpose and function(s) someday, but in the meantime, seriously, isn't this what beta is for??
  15. You set headers in your note to structure it. Headers are defined by applying a header text style to a line of text. There are Levels 1-3. This was introduced with v10 in 2020. What is now new is A) the sections below the headers can be collapsed and expanded. B.) The headers serve as anchors. Hover the mouse over a header. To the left you get an arrow that will collapse and expand it. To the right you get a symbol to copy a link that points to this header in the note. To create a TOC of a note, go to the blue + menu and select Table of Content. It will grab all links from all headers, and create aTOC from it at the beginning of the note.

  17. Where can I find out more about how this new toc works?
  18. It Stores it in the Evernote Calendar See Below, at the moment it does not sync with the other Calendars but it has been stated that they are woking towards that.
  19. Nothing to do with Google or outlook integration. I am just trying to put something on the Evernote calendar.
  20. Hi. You theoretically get two devices (including the web client) but the device count is frequently incorrect. If in doubt just delete all other devices than the one you are using.
  21. Hi. We're mainly other users here - no input or impact on Support issues. What exactly was your login issue?
  22. Hi. We're not Support here, just other users. You could try uninstalling your app, restarting your device and reinstalling to make sure you have a valid installation...
  23. Hi. As long as it takes. The team are doing their best, but there are only so many hours in the day...
