Yes, it is gradually arriving in a desktop app near you. Go to Settings / Import and, when available, you can drag and drop from Apple Notes, OneNote, Word, Google Docs and Notion (Markdown). I've tested the Word and Markdown and a coherent note is created from the original document.

An important improvement would be for the search engine to be able to ignore particular signs or accents on the vowels a, e, i, o, u and other letters. Let me explain: in the French language, for example, there are many accents on different letters. So if you're looking for a notebook entitled in french "Éléphant", you have to enter the exact word, with the exact accents. This means that if you do the smallest error in typing, you won't find what you're looking for. However, it would be nice to be able to find this same notebook by typing "elephant" in the search. Many other applications include this function already. Could you consider implementing this feature upgrade in the near future? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Which is great, because the Import from other apps was always a weak point. It will allow users who are fed up with MD enforcement to migrate their content out of it 🙃😅

It opens for me every f... day "in the middle of the screen at a smaller size". Funny thing is, if I exit the client and start it again on the same day, then the client opens at the last postition and size. When I shutdown Windows and boot it up the next day, EN client open again mid-screen/nedium size

Same here Just updated to 10.86.4-mac-mas-public (20240424105017) via mac app store which states "New Features:- New Task section for enhanced organization and efficiency." Clicking on tasks I see nothing different I Wish they would stop these annoying partial ugrades. Either keep it with beta testers or roll it out

I didn‘t found a way to create a new event in the Evernote calendar. On web it‘s easy:. there‘s a button (top right) - this button is missing in my mobile version 10.86.0

Most likely because the majority of users is not interested in getting their editor experience broken. We have had users migrating to EN for not wanting MD. If you want MD, choose one of the apps offering it.

I'm also seeing 2 Evernote Calendars listed on my account (in addition to my Google calendar). Could this cause any issues in syncing or the like?

My Evernote account has been downgraded to Free even though my subscription is valid until 11/06/2024. The billing section of my EN account does not show any payments. But I subscribed to EN multiple times in the past. The receipt of those payments is not reflected either. Last time, I upgraded to Evernote on 11/07/2023. My Invoice No. is INV16709345. It is a yearly subscription. So, my Subscription tenure is valid till 11/06/2024. The Subscription End Date is clearly mentioned in my billing receipt. I am enclosing my current billing receipt. I found a screenshot from the previous EN support email showing all my payments on the EN dashboard. I have enclosed it for your reference. Has it really been six years since this post was created? Markdown should not be that difficult to implement. If little apps like Bear app(mac) can support it, Evernote with much more revenue, can certainly pull it off. Why the delay?

No longer experimental. It's officially released in 10.86. They added scratch pad to the new home screen, added shortcuts to the bottom bar (replaced with notebooks, notebooks are accessed from the notes screen) and widgets are still in the side menu from the experimental versions. You can see an explanation on their YouTube channel.

Until I see you all happy with a version, I am NOT UPDATING. Still on Android v10.78.0. Besides App flashing upon opening, all appears well. And, I appreciate your Posting the particular v still present w/🪲s. Thank you.

Thank you for mentioning this! I have signed out of Evernote, signed bakc in, re-started computer, but uninstalling and re-installing worked.

I now have the new mobile screen and ... I surprisingly like it. Clipboard is back and easy access to shortcuts has been added. Those were my main complaints earlier. Notes, Shortcuts, Tasks, and Calendar are all one click away, which I'm fine with. Interestingly, files load much quicker than on the desktop app which I don't understand.

May be part of a roll-out - I just updated to the latest new release but my Tasks page is not a full page yet - maybe AI editing hasn't been released to everyone either. We're all users here, so all we have is speculation - all you can do is use a work-around for the time being and remind Support from time to time that you're waiting for a response.

ctrl-cmd-N brings up the EN helper from the toolbar, as a global shortcut.

Well, I tried it and did another thing too: I had installed the app on new laptop where no Evernote was detected. And still the same thing - Unworking AI Edit for my account, but for others it works fine.
