(Archived) Newlines condensed when pasting with 1.8.1

Release notes for 1.8.1 says it fixed the issue with newlines not pasting correctly. But it's still broken... consecutive newlines are not pasted correctly. So

What application are you copying from?

Sorry I was unclear, I'm copying from Evernote 1.8.1 and pasting into other applications (like a text field in a web browser or pasting into Emacs).

The behavior actually doesn't seem to be happening consistently, but I've seen it with an existing note where copying and pasting into another app caused some blank lines to be omitted -- essentially lines that were only carriage returns.
