(Archived) Evernote Version 1.8.1 for intel duo only

I have a Macbook Pro G4. Am very happy with Evernote. Have 42 pieces of info. Am working on my dissertation. I download 1.8.1 and now Evernote will no open in my computer's architecture. How do I go back to 1.8.0 while retaining my username? It woukd be nice to have a warning on downloads , or better a way of not automatically deleting 1.8.0 or whatever new download comes along.

Version 1.8.1 is also a Universal binary, and it should still run under PPC.

Please try:

Quit Evernote from the elephant icon in the menu bar

Drag Evernote to the Trash and empty it from the Trash

Download a replacement: http://www.evernote.com/about/download/mac.php

Install the replacement

Reboot your Mac

Run Evernote
