TB100 0
Is there a way to clip Facebook posts on my Android (any browser!)? On my iPhone I can share to Evernote, which even works for private posts. Edit: I can use the Share menu and get the Evernote clipper, but it's not grabbing the actual content as on my iPhone. Level 5* gazumped 11,652 Posted August 31, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted August 31, 2016 Hi. If you go to Facebook via the browser rather than an app you should have access to the normal share menu from the roller blind icon at the top right of the browser window..?? Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 11,652 Posted August 31, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted August 31, 2016 Hmmn. I do have a clip, but it defaults to a login invitation and the note URL leads to a mobile (narrow) page which my desktop browser can log into, but isn't much use. Where Facebook pages are clips from web pages, it's possible to follow the URL of the original page and clip (or 'share') normally from there. If you're clipping your, or someone else's posts, it seems like all you can do is take a screen shot and clip/ share that. You could also try 'send as a message' in Messenger (top right option) and then copy the Messenger screen later on a desktop...although I just tried that and the message hasn't come through yet... I think Facebook is set up to be pretty selfish with it's content. I'll keep looking for alternatives - if anyone finds something please post here! Link to comment
