(Archived) sync folder for Mac

As far as I understand, in Windows EN users can keep a folder in Explorer synced with Evernote.

I fould this would be a great feature, since I keep text files in a folder, that I update in a text editor on my iphone (Writeroom). If these would be accessable/searchable from within EN it would be great!

I reckon limitations are within MacOS X (Snow Leopard), but could there be a workaround (eg AppleScript) for this?

On the Mac you could configure a folder to import files into Evernote using a Folder Action via AppleScript:

This is a one-way import, however. Once the file has been added into Evernote, you can open and edit the file from within Evernote itself. The original file on your computer is no longer involved.
