For Pen and Paper Gamers

When playing D&D or any other pen and paper game, a lot of windows are open at the same time and due to the linearity of note taking, a lot of CTRL+F and scrolling is also involved...which isn't really productive. When using books (and PDFs), you can bookmark certain sections for quick access but this feature is absent in Evernote. I'd like us to be able to create bookmarks quick reference.

Also I think there should be a thing called the "Quick-Ref Drawer" (patent pending :P). At the bottom of the note we should be able to create a space by clicking a + button. This works like frames or tables but doesn't move with the main note (though it is part of the main note). You can put attachments in each drawer or write quick notes, maybe a picture.

This would be great for quick note taking such as damage, an item or object you have to reference a bunch (like a monster or map). It would even be great for taking individual player notes during a session to reduce open windows (maybe these drawers can be other notes?).

You can make as many drawers as you like here and resize them independent of each other (so making one bigger won't make another smaller). Then there will be a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom to scroll through your drawers. A right click can remove a drawer (with a choice to remove attached material from the note in the case of pictures or just paste it on the bottom).

I've including a rough sketch of this drawer.

To make this more main stream for normal use, having scratch paper or a place to stick quick reference notes for a lengthy paper would be good for document construction. Having a space for footers or a lexicon or key word area would be useful when dealing with unfamiliar topics or things to keep in mind in the context of the document.
