(Archived) Request: Check-Box as a list symbol

We very often want to dash off a series of TO-DOs.

Any chance of making the Check-Box an option for the "list symbol", in addition to bullet and number?

Excellent idea.

Right now having the checkbox as it's own icon is strange, since most times you use a checkbox, it is in a list.

It can still be useful as its own icon, so you can add it ad-hoc when you need to.

No doubt it can be useful on its own…but having it as a list icon (and a separate icon perhaps) would make making checklists a lot easier.
