(Archived) Sync Fail on Mac (Snow Leopar), Evernote (1.8.0)

- Not being able to sync is bad.

- Not getting an error message telling you that the sync failed is really bad.

- Not having a way to rectify the sync failure is a deal breaker.

For the past few days I've been unable to upload and sync new notes or updates to previously-created notes from my Mac (Snow Leopard) and Evertnote (1.8.0). Here is the Activity Log for the last effort to sync today after creating a new note called "This was created on MacBook Black". The note called "Grocery Store" is one that attempted to make changes to and update on a different Mac (also Snow Leopard) and Evernote (1.8.0) last night.

I've already deleted and reinstalled Evernote on both Macs (as well as my iPhone) rebooting each after deletion and before reinstalling, to no avail.

Any other suggestions?

We found a bug in the Mac client that is triggered when you edit a note on the iPhone or iPad and then synchronize it to the Mac.

We are testing a fix and hope to have that available later today.

We have just released version 1.8.1, which should fix this problem. Please go to: Help > Check for Updates
