unable to open word doc attachments

I'm new to EN. I'm able to attach word docs, but I can't open them on desktop or web but I can open them on my iphone. I receive the following message on the web application and no action/message on the desktop:

"This action is only valid for products currently installed."

Am I missing some support platform?

I'm able to attach and read PDF files on my desktop but not the web.

@amy2570Based on that error it looks like this is due to a corrupted shortcut to the Office program you are attempting to open (assuming it's Word since it's a Word doc). Can you please try the steps in this help article? Let me know if this doesn't resolve the issue. I've also responded to the support ticket you've opened.
