How to automatically sync files from a folder

Hello,

i would like to know if there is a way to automatically sync a folder with textfiles to evernote. I frequently create new textfiles and i would like to tag them to have their content organized...but I would not like to always manually create a new note and upload those files because they change over time. 

I use evernote web since the company does not provide a Linux client.

There's nothing built in to EN

If I had a file that changed over time, I would not import it into EN
I'd add a link to the file in the note.

I'm thinking I could do something on my Mac.
It has builtin folder actions that trigger on adding a new file, or possibly a script to monitor a folder.
Sorry, can't advise you on anything for Linux
