Stow 1
Maybe this ij just fantasy but can Evernote be embedded into a website for use? Perhaps having the login as part of an icon on a website and for evernote to open perhaps as a slide window when someone wants to copy something. Anyone have experience of this? Is it allowed? Not sure exactly what you're look for, but couldn't you use the public link to your notes - as in this sample Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,524 Posted August 12, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted August 12, 2016 I this might be one of those getting down off an Elephant things - like where they send out the ducks... It's not forbidden to publish your notes anywhere you like (if you can) Shared notes either display as individual web pages, or are hosted in the viewer's own copy of Evernote. Web pages are better. (Use the public link) Notes can also be published to social media like Twitter and Facebook Various third party applications extend the publishability of notes to: blog pages (https://postach.io/site/) colleagues/ customers (https://trello.com/ - and other GTD / to-do / collaboration packages) many other apps (https://ifttt.com/ - and other automation packages like https://www.zendesk.com/) You could even build a complete website in Evernote, though it won't have the functionality of an individually coded site. Think parent-child Tables of Contents for your home and all sub pages Evernote Business has publishable 'Libraries' that can be made available to customers. Evernote's App Center lists (obviously) more apps that have integrations which might be useful - https://appcenter.evernote.com/ So it's not impossible to have information from your notes displayed as part of a web page. You may have to make some compromises as to how you achieve that - it depends on what you want to show, and how much style and design you need to apply. (Evernote doesn't do so well with any style other than its own...) Hope that helps, sorry if it was overkill! Link to comment
