Quick search question re: NOT

I would like to create the following search:

All notes created since this week but NOT any notes from a certain notebook.

I can't figure out how to do that. Help?

You can't do the "Not in a certain notebook"

One approach is, assign a temporary tag to the notes in the notebook

You can do, Not with a certain tag (-tag:xxx)
