Kees de Bruin 1
When I forward a message (as attachment) from my email client to Evernote the creation date of the note is set to the timestamp the email is received and processed. Is it possible to set the creation date of the note to the timestamp (Date header) of the forwarded message? I use forward as attachment with an empty body and the Fwd: prefix removed so I get only the content of the forwarded email in my note, no other stuff. Link to comment
Level 5* CalS 5,280 Posted August 5, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted August 5, 2016 On a desktop client you can do it manually by going to Info and clicking on the creation date there. See the info icon from Windows below. Link to comment
Kees de Bruin 1
I know this but that is not the point here. It should use the date from the email and it is quite a pita to change this for every email that is sent to Evernote. Link to comment

Then you might want to post in the appropriate feedback forum requesting this as an enhancement. Link to comment

The Evermail plugin is no longer available but they have a larger suite. What I don't like is that is either crippled by restricting usage or only available as a subscription. But I will try it just to see if it works like it should. Link to comment

A shame that the EverMail plugin is replaced by the MailButler service. Me too, I would refrain from subscription costs. Also because mail apps like Airmail offer almost all the MailButler options for fee. Link to comment
