Where is the camera icon on phone app

I downloaded the Evernote app and it looks nothing like what I see in tutorials. Where are the icons re camera, etc.? Did I do something wrong?

Hi.  Create a note and you should see  the camera icon;  edit a note and tap the paperclip to see various types of note attachment.  Install an Evernote widget to have the icon on your home screen.

I have a Samsung S6 and I'm having all kinds of problems with the permissions, etc. I turn off the other stuff as directed but it still will not let me use the widget app (camera, etc.).

Oh, and I cannot find where to turn off screen overlay.

@keithrhudson@outlook.com Hi.  Exactly what errors / issues do you get when trying to use the widget or camera?  What's the 'other stuff' you turned off?  And can you screenshot the overlay issue?  Offhand I'm not aware of any issues...
