When sharing I now get a synchronising notes message followed by a request to verify my Email address which I do. I receive no Email in my inbox and still can not share notes. I have re installed software across various platforms but with no results. Link to comment

Well, AFAIK the share notes feature hasn't altered for any level of account, so it's difficult to imagine what's happened here. I'd certainly suggest you raise a support ticket because this might require a bit of under-the-hood access to review your account. In fact most of the questions I can think of to ask you aren't really the sort of thing we can discuss in an open forum - why don't you raise the ticket and post the number back here, and I'll flag this for an admin to look at...
