City78 1
I'm unable to install the latest version of Evernote. I bought anew touch screen laptop, and downloaded the Evernote Touch App, not realising that it is a very light version and has few features. So i tried to installed the full edition, and this has caused issues. There are a number of posts on this topic already (why doesn't Evernote just fix this so installation is simple?) People are suggesting solutions like: "Go to: C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Temp" But.. I don't have a folder section called 'AppData' (ie. C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData). So i don't know how to proceed from here? Cant evernote just create a fix/patch for this? Can anyone suggesta process from here? Stuck... Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,331 Posted July 24, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted July 24, 2016 Hi. Can you reinstall the Touch version and then uninstall it using Revo Uninstaller? (Scroll to the bottom of that page) The simple fix may be - reinstall the 'wrong' version and remove it completely (Revo will clean up any registry entries that may be left behind) so that the desktop version can be installed.
