moz2611 0
hi, Please, is there a simple way to send from a evernote note as a shortcut link to windows desktop by drag and drop ? I know that you can use the evrnote share feature and then use the clipboard and then paste it to windows desktop but it's a fastidious process. Thanks for the tip... Link to comment

This may be different in Windows, but I wouldn't use the share function to get a link to a note for the desktop It adds a level of overhead; creating a public link etc I would use the simple Copy Links function. This also gives you the option of a in-app or in-browser link Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,388 Posted July 20, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted July 20, 2016 As @DTLow said - there's no easy function, but the simple way (IMHO) is just to Ctrl-right-click the note in List view and choose 'copy note link'. To create a desktop shortcut in Windows you then have to right click the desktop and choose New > Shortcut and paste the link into the form you see. Rename it to something appropriate and you're done! Link to comment
