Migrating notes to the new version

Hi.  Which version of Evernote are you now using,  and when was your last update?  There is sometimes a conversion process after updating,  but that should be a once-only task.  Have you allowed Evernote to finish 'migrating' before closing it down again?

Hi there @Mohammed Shafiee;

In addition to what @gazumped asked, can you provide the following information?

  • What version of OSX do you currently have installed on your Mac?
  • Would you please log into your account from a desktop or laptop computer's web browser at evernote.com?  Do all of your notes appear properly on the web?

I look forward to your response!

Hi everyone,

My apologies for the late reply. We had our Eid celebrations and got very busy at work after that.

Anyway, My Evernote for Mac is version is 6.7.1 and my Mac OS X version is 10.11.5

I logged into my account from my MacBook using Safari and all my notebooks and notes appear properly.

Every time I restart Evernote on my Mac I get a message 'migrating notes to the new version'. It seems the notes are not permanently migrated. Is there something I'm supposed to do that I haven't?

My process would be to not spend a lot of time troubleshooting this
- I would delete the app
- and then delete the database
Reinstalling the app will rebuild the database from the Evernote servers

***Warning - the rebuild is only for sync'd notes ***
