(Archived) Reorder note

Here is a scenario, which I would like to use Evernote with.

I'm reading a pdf ebook, and would like to take notes while reading the pdf. Evernote seems to force notes to be in chronologically order, but I would like to be able to reorder the notes. So they appear in the same order as contents of the pdf.

Is that possible using Evernote 3?

By default, notes are ordered chronologically. That's the essence of the "endless tape" metaphor. However, with the notelist, you can now order notes, at least temporarily by other things, e.g., by title, by category, etc. Your notes will still be created in chronological order, but if you write something meaningful as the title (first line of the note), then you can see the notes in that order.
