Limit size of db on my desktop app

Hi,

  I have a fair number of notes in my EN db & as it happens, not a lot of disk space on my mac.   When I check what apps are using a lot of space, EN is near the top.

  On tablet devices, only the note headers are stored on the device, so far as I know.   Would it be possible to limit the size of the db stored on the desktop & only keep on disk ones that are recent &/or in some particular notebook?

The Windows/Mac applications install a full copy of your notes on your device.

The only way to get around this is to not use the software - use the web version instead.

A workaround would be have two accounts, one for current work and one for notes archive.
