Changing the width of a note

I used cut and paste to move an image to the top of my note.  When I pasted the image it shrunk down to be the same width as the image below and I can't resize it back to its original size.  I can only make it smaller.  I notice that text in this part of my note is also wrapping to the smaller width.  Evernote help says you can resize an image up to the width of the note.  So how do I make this part of my note wider?

I tried the above and it worked for me, pasted in a picture larger than the existing in the note and it maintained its size.  I would first expand the width of the note window, or open the note in its own window full screen to see if the image width is what you expect.  If not, I would suggest pasting the image into a new note to verify the image size.  If it isn't then perhaps a bug report is in order.
