Inputs are lost from iphone

Recommended Posts

I set to sync notes on iphone only with wifi.

1. Type something on iphone.

2. Sync on iphone when wifi is enabled.

3. Sync on desktop and show no updates.

4. Inputs on iphone are lost, overwritten with that on desktop.

WHY?

The Evernote servers (cloud) is the master copy for your notes.
Are you able to log into the Evernote web platform to verify that the iPhone data is being synced to the cloud?

@ymcheung

It is best to be sure that you have synced when you enter/leave a platform.  Particularly if you are bouncing back and forth between devices.

So sync on the desktop, sync on the phone, type on the phone, sync on the phone, sync on the desktop and see if it works.

Thank you for the replies.

Evernote was so convenient for me just because I didn't always have to click and save (sync).

I found this happened when jotting something and going out, which evernote would notify me about version conflicts before.

(I just switched from Premium to Plus plan.)

If you have coverage, your mobile device should sync after you exit the note within a few seconds.  Ditto on Windows desktop if you have Enable instant sync checked.  Just have to be sure you have wifi I suppose.
