danhash 22
If a Notebook with child Notebooks is added to the Shortcuts list, when viewing the Shortcuts panel, the parent Notebook can be expanded in the Shortcuts list to reveal the child Notebooks: Tags that have children are displayed along with their children in the Tags panel: However, if a parent Tag is added to the Shortcuts list, only the parent Tag is visible; the children as not displayed (notice there is no arrow to expand the hierarchy): My suggestion is to mirror the Shortcuts functionality of nested Notebooks and also show nested Tags in the Shortcuts menu. There is a hidden option in the registry which will probably be included in the new options menu in v 6.2 where if you click a tag in shortcuts the left panel will jump to the tag section and to the place in the nest where the tag is located.
