I understand the desire to keep Penultimate a separate app. However, there is a big gap in functionality, when you have to create separate notebooks for the same project. Evernote's writing capabilities are not to the same level as Penultimate, but I cannot directly add a Penultimate note into an Evernote Notebook. The closest equivalent is to find that Penultimate note in Evernote, and then link that note in the Evernote Notebook.
The simple solution would be to make the Evernote Notebooks available to Penultimate, and add the ability to create handwritten notes in those notebooks. That way we can have our handwritten notes side-by-side in the same notebook. Even if I have to go back in to Penultimate to modify the handwritten note, at least it is in the same place, same Notebook.
