Exclude words with strikethrough font in search results

I use the word/string TODO to keep track of tasks I need to complete. When I complete the task I use TODO to indicate that I've completed the task. When I search for TODO to see what I have still outstanding, I'd like the search to ignore TODO. Is this search possible?

Have you thought of using the checkbox (ToDo) feature.  It has its own search grammar.

Personally, I use separate notes and the Reminder feature.  I can mark tasks done, and it also has its own search grammar.
