Feature Request - Project Cost Tracking

I would love to see a feature added that would allow you choose to add dollar figures (estimates) on line items within a note that would then have an optional total at the top of the note and then a total for the Category and finally a total for all note categories. This would allow for example to create a Note Category for "Home Repairs" with notes within and line items within those notes that all total up automatically. Example:

All Note Categories ($2,500)

Categories:

Weekend Getaway Trip ($1,300)

  • Car Rental ($300)
  • Hotel ($500)
  • Dining ($400)
  • Misc. ($100)

Home Repairs ($1,200)

  • Fix Fence ($300)
  • New Garage Door Motor ($250)
  • Refinish Living Room ($650)

 

Obviously with a bit more refinement, but this would be so helpful to have an auto adding summary that carries up through the organizational groupings to give estimates / totals.

Evernote doesn't seem to be that type of product.  You probably should be looking at spreadsheet products
