new shortcut for increase / decrease font size

Alright, keyboard shortcuts Cmd + Plus key or Cmd + Minus key have been assigned to the Zoom feature.

Now some release annoucement said Command-Shift-> and Command-Shift-< would increase/decrease font size instead.

I tried that but nothing happens when pressing this key combinations. In fact, the announcement appears to be somewhat beta-ish because character "<" and ">" are on the same key (at least on my keyboard) so the Shift would be simply a modifier to type >  instead of < . Put differently, on my keyboard one cannot really do Command-Shift-< because pressing Shift always delivers > yet never < .

Anybody have any clue about the real new keyboard shortuts to increase / decrease font size? Thank you!

This is a windows forum and on windows Ctrl - + and Ctrl - - and Ctrl - 0 are the hot keys for zoom.

Right, that's the new standard. All brilliant. And what shortcuts will now  increase/decrease font size?

Is it a non-US keyboard? Does pressing Ctrl+Shift+Period or Ctrl+Shift+Comma do anything (select some text first, of course)?

Yup, that solved it. OK, so the original beta announcement about  Command-Shift-> and Command-Shift-<  did refer to the US keyboard.

I'll try to keep that in mind for the future. Thank you and Best Regards
