Evernote iOS for iPhone - I don't want to see "Reminders" field in All Notes view

Idea

On my iPhone, when I go to the "Notes" view, I always see a "Reminders" field at the top of the screen. I don't use Reminders and I'd prefer not to see that field - can I get rid of it? I know, it shouldn't be a huge deal, but it's a phone and the screen doesn't have much real estate. Plus it's just annoying.

I don't see this field on my iPad.

Thanks in advance! (And apologies for failing to find this same question elsewhere on the forum - it must be there, and I've looked, but I couldn't find it.)

I personally like the Reminders being available at the top of the All Notes screen, but I agree with issues others have posted:

1)  If someone doesn't use Reminders, I can see how they would like to turn it off. It should be optional

2)  I have also touched it numerous times thinking it is the search field—even though I know it isn't, and I use reminders. The element's UI needs to change in some way.

So, I hope Reminders aren't removed from the All Notes screen, but made optional and the UI for the element is redesigned.

Evernote: Thanks for considering our request.

The field is annoying not just when you don't use reminders.

Visually it looks way too much like a search box in the exact location the search box is placed on other screens.

The little alarm clock is a round icon so at a quick glance it also looks like a search icon.

I've tapped the field way too many times because it was visible and I quickly wanted to search for a note.

Please remove this field or place it somewhere else.

OK, I was hoping I was just missing a preference panel somewhere, but I guess not. This works too. Thanks!

I can't seem to up-vote. Is that because I (inadvertently) posted the feature request, and therefore already count as one vote?

After writing the above, I read a tip that I thought would be helpful for a few of my notebooks—creating a 'Table of Contents' note, assigning a Reminder with no date, and then it will always display at the top of the notebook. However, after trying it, I realized the tip must have been written for a previous version of EN (for iOS) that actually had a section reserved at the top that displayed a couple/few reminder notes—or even tho the tip didn't say, maybe the tip was never available for iOS.

This, of course, would take up even *more* room than the current bar for the iPhone and alarm clock icon for the iPad. Making it a configurable option would hopefully address everyone's requests.

i primarily use EN on my iPhone and iPad, so I'm actually *most* interested in the features available on the iOS platform.

Evernote:  I hope you consider making the mobile versions as equal in features as the desktop versions

Yeah, it would seem that if you don't have any reminders the space could be recovered.  You might want to post in the feedback forum requesting the change.  Others could up vote the suggestion there.
