How to leave attachment on the server?

How do I sync my evernote but leave the attachments on the server for only my Mac Air?

I currently have very little hard disk space on my personal Mac Air, however my office desktop have a larger HDD which I used to upload my attachment in evernote. I only need for short period to work on the attachments in Mac Air after that I need only to refer to the notes in my Mac Air but still needing the attachments in my desktop.

Appreciate any information or suggestion, thank you

Unfortunately with the Windows/Mac desktop platforms, its an all or none choice with the database.

You could use the web platform and the data will stay on the server.

What @DTLow said is absolutely correct. There is not a way to have the desktop Evernote application on the Mac or a Windows PC function without having the database stored in its original location on the disk.

That being said; if you use the Mac version, you check out the Alternote application in our App Center, which does have a selective syncing feature.
