I have been having a lot of issues on both my work and home computers since this update (EN 6.0.6.1769 (301769) Public.

  • Home computer: Surface Book (Windows 10, i7, 8G, 256G Solid State)
  • Work computer: Dell Latitude E6530 (Windows 7 Ent SP1 64bit, i7, 16GB)

I am experience some strange issues:
  • Very slow response time
  • Enter and Backkeys are not always work in Evernote
  • Not responding is showing up a lot now
I have run some cleanups on my machine but only experiencing this in Evernote. I also ran the optimize data and repairs available with CTRL-Help.

When all else fails a revo uninstall and a reinstall of EN seems to be the next step in the process.  FWIW, EN was fast for me prior to EN 6, but is faster now.  Windows 10, SSD, a couple of years old i5 PC with 8GB and 28k notes.

After first install you should leave EN open for at least 3-4 hours without using EN, to let it fully re-index.

I had it open all day yesterday. Have you see the Enter and Backspace keys not working only in Evernote?
