Can't delete a note permanently (restored in another device?)

Recommended Posts

Hi,

When I tried to empty the trash, nothing was deleted. I tried several times, nothing. I selected several at once and it worked. But after selecting other group I got a messge that some notes were restored on another device and nothing was deleted.

I noticed one note in the trash that had a green arrow in the corner. I restored it, then tried to empty the trash, it worked. The trash now is empty.

But I still can't delete this one note. I delete it, it goes to trash, when I try to delete it from there I keep getting this messege: "This note was already restored in another device, nothing was deleted"

What exactly is the problem?

And how can I delete this note for ever?

Thank you.

Had a similar problem on v10 iOS. Before iOS 10.0.3 it was undeletable. With 10.0.3 it could be deleted by doing this:

In the end I uninstalled the app on the device where that note had been created, dumped all data, switched the i-device off and on again, reinstalled, logged in. The corrupted note could then be deleted.
