R Cummings 0
EverNote was installed into my Microsoft Outlook ribbon (Windows 10 desktop) without my permission, I assume as part of some Yahoo/McAfee adware. When I select Customize the Ribbon in Outlook, EverNote is not shown. EverNote's support says that I can go to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program to uninstall, but that is not true... EverNote is not shown in the programs listing. So... how do I install this EverNote virus that intentionally hides itself? Link to comment
R Cummings 0
No surprise that no one from EverNote responded to this. I suppose I cannot expect a virus-maker to help me uninstall their virus. Fortunately Microsoft's support had the solution: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_365hp-outlook/how-to-remove-evernote-from-office365/cc1f9dee-df9f-4b48-ad07-53a8696bb9f2?auth=1 You have to uninstall it using Outlook for web, not Outlook desktop. Unchecking EverNote there did the trick. This addin is nothing but adware... not the actual EverNote application. This company is desperate. It all reeks of rats going down with a sinking ship (like Yahoo). Get off the boat while you can folks. Link to comment

The new Add-In, as you have found, can be removed using outlook.com. Link to comment
