mcluff 25
(Apologies if Outlook Clipper doesn't apply to this forum.) Getting the below error whenever I try to clip an email using Outlook 2010. (Using EN 6.0.4.1688) I'm logged into the Windows app AND on Chrome and IE. Did all the restarts and reboots, too. Link to comment

Hi mcluff, thanks for reporting the issue! We would like to see full content of the OLRDClipper_**.txt log file, most recent one should do. Log files are located in c:\Users\*user name*\AppData\LocalLow\Evernote\Evernote\Logs\ It would also help to know if there were any beta builds installed. For this, press Win+R, enter 'regedit'. You should have no HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Evernote\Evernote5 or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Evernote\Evernote6 branches. If there are such branches, try to rename them temporarily and see if that helps. Thanks, Kati 2 Link to comment
mcluff 25
The registry keys were the problem, thank you! (I had them going back to Evernote2!) In case it helps for future reference, here's the error I'd gotten in OLRDclipper[date].txt: 2016-04-25 10:08:39 DEBUG [1 ] - Loading localization from: C:\Program Files\Evernote\Evernote\OLIEResource.dll 2016-04-25 10:08:39 WARN [1 ] - Unable to load localization resource Str_Unknown:1 2016-04-25 10:08:39 DEBUG [1 ] - Localization loaded Link to comment

Thanks, Kati For some reasons, in my Registry, there are "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Evernote\Evernote5" and "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Evernote\Evernote3", besides "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Evernote\Evernote" where most items locate. I deleted both "Evernote5" and "Evernote3", now it works! I replied with detailed error messages in another post. Hope it helps for your reference. Link to comment

To delete Evernote3, Evernote4, Evernote5 in regestry worked for me too! :-) Thank you! Link to comment
