Mod'd a note. Now I need the previous info

As the title suggests, I modified a note by deleting some information and adding some information in its place.  I saved it, then exited Evernote.  

Then I discovered that I needed the information that I had deleted.  Is there anyway to recover it?

Evernote maintains a note history.

Its available for access by paid accounts.

I know that but I'm a cheap b*****d and only have the free version.  Looks like I'm out of luck.  Fortunately I found a workaround to get the info from another source, not related to Evernote.
