Enable 1-finger scroll and disable finger writing when connected to Apple Pencil

Idea

Several other note-taking apps have this, but essentially, when the Apple Pencil is connected it is the ONLY input device for drawing and writing. This enables easier scrolling with just one finger (since that finger doesn't write anymore) and also causes less accidental marks with the finger.

This is really frustrating as when scrolling if you drag and left the page scroll, when you try and drag again before the page comes to rest the dragging doesn't work... I think if you made it so the pen was the only input the any finger input would be dragging and hopefully this would fix the dragging issue.

It's not happening or it would've been implemented by now. Maybe it's an Evernote styluses exclusive like with Bamboo writing app. So sad.

I've been reading comments that date back to 2016 about the lack of scrolling in ink notes  - ie the need to use the mouse the scroll or using the scroll panel - both of which options are sub-standard compared to other programs like OneNote that allows for 1-finger and 2-finger scrolling within ink notes. Is anyone aware of any current way to achieve 1-finger and 2-finger scrolling within ink notes? Thanks

This is a feature of the OS, there is literally a Pencil Setting slider that says when connected to pencil, disable finger drawing. Please abide by this OS setting. The double tap to switch to eraser is another one that should be followed.

The Penultimate for iPad will not survive without full support of Apple Pencil.

The pencil provides the best stylus experience on iPad and Penultimate should follow if it wants to stay relevant.
