It would be annoying to export each folder separately Which platform do you use? I've automated my backups with a script (Mac AppleScript); it creates a separate export for each notebook. It would be annoying to export each folder separately If by "folder" you mean "Notebook", and by "hierarchy" you mean "Stacks", then you will have to record the Stack/Notebook arrangement manually. You could do this by expanding all Stacks in the Left Sidebar to show the Notebooks in each Stack, and then doing a screenshot of just that section of the screen. Then paste this screenshot into a new Note, or into a document outside of Evernote. When you export Notes, the ENEX (or HTML) files do NOT have any notebook or stack information. So you might export the Notes like this so that the name of the ENEX file tells your the Stack and NB Name: Do a separate export for each Notebook, and name the ENEX file based on the Stack Name and NB Name For example, suppose you have a Stack named "Active", with a NB named "Personal" The ENEX File would be named: "Active-Personal.enex" Of course you can use any naming convention you want. Just to be clear, Evernote does NOT have any entity called "folder". Link to comment
