PinkGirl 0
Can you explain to me how to use the web clipper to add a Web Clip to an existing note Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,415 Posted April 7, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted April 7, 2016 Yup. Clip chosen page to new note. Select new note and existing note. Merge. Or copy and paste, or use tags or titles to tie the two together, or print one note to PDF and attach it to the other, Or print both notes to PDF and use an editor to join the two PDFs together and attach that to a new note... It's not usually feasible to clip from a web page directly into an existing note, because the layout information - the coding in one or both notes - could easily corrupt the layout of both. alvarocastrojr. 0
Clipping into a existing note should do the same as merge then afterword. I would love this feature! Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 10,415 Posted December 3, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted December 3, 2017 Hmmn. If you're a subscriber and can email into Evernote, there's an option in email titles... Quote To add some text to an existing note, put a " +" at the end of your subject line and we'll place the body of the email into the most recent note with that title. (https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005347) Not sure if that would apply to web pages, but most pages will allow you to send the page to a friend / output to PDF and send... - Just a possible option.
