(Archived) Crashing at startup

I just downloaded Evernote for my Mac OS X 10.5.8

It worked at first, but then I copied some text into a new note. It crashed immediately and now every time I try to open it, it crashes within 10 seconds. I tried reinstalling it, and rebooting my computer. No luck. How can I get it to stop crashing so I can actually use Evernote?

Please try:

Quit Evernote from the elephant icon in the menu bar

Download the installer from: http://www.evernote.com/about/download/mac.php

Install that to replace the copy in Applications

Reboot your Mac

I had already tried that, but I did it again and still no luck.

Then please contact support. We'll probably want to see output from within the Mac Console application, which should say why it's crashing.
