When I'm writing text the zoom box is very helpful, but when I'm doing something else like drawing or sketching, I want more flexibility in how I zoom. Zooming normally with out the box should be an option (simple toggle in the toobar?). Also, when I'm panning with a tool in my hand, I sometimes write something by mistake. It'd be very useful if there was a pan tool where I couldn't write anything.
