Benjamin C 1
Since a few months ago, articles on Medium.com cannot be properly parsed by Web Clipper in "Simplified article" mode. Only part of the content is parsed. Separators usually stop the clipper from continuing to parse the rest of the content. Images will only show up if they have been loaded, i.e. if I don't scroll to the image, it would not be loaded from Medium's servers. The tiny thumbnail images, shown before an image fully loads, are included in the Simplified article content. A good example is this Medium post: https://medium.com/humane-tech/i-thought-we-re-the-good-guys-852ff9ebd246 Link to comment
rmloveland 2
I have also experienced this behavior - every post on Medium I try to clip gets cut off after the first couple of paragraphs. (Using Clipper on Firefox.) Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,070 Posted May 1, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted May 1, 2017 Hi. I just tried the link mentioned by the OP and my Firefox clips the whole article in 'simplified' mode without any obvious problem. If you have any continuing problem with clipping specific items it's probably best if you report the issue to Support (we're a -mostly- user-supported forum) use https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new if you're a paying customer or tweet https://twitter.com/evernotehelps if not Link to comment
rmloveland 2
@gazumped thanks -- simplified mode helps! Also, having Evernote "re-clip" from within the app seems to work the rest of the time. Link to comment
