AFAIK (not a Mac user) if you minimise Evernote and then max the window again, you should (obviously) get exactly the same view, unless in the meantime you saved another note to the app or some other action occurred to refresh the view. If that's not the case I'd suggest you contact support for more information. Link to comment

I can confirm - same issue on my Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.3 Evernote Version 6.6 Beta 2 (453232 Direct) On maximise, I'm positioned at the top note in my sorted list >>Mac computer. iOS or Mac is not the same ?
