OSX: After annotating image, view scrolls to top.

Recommended Posts

Hello,

When I annotate an image on large notes, the note view jumps back to the top of the note. I then have to scroll down to find where I was editing.

This is particularly annoying for larger notes and when you're in a rush (e.x during a lecture).
Ex: https://www.evernote.com/l/Alo56EwNow9Kjaz6CtY-Smg37Jfu6WZG5oE

Would it be possible to fix this behaviour so that the view would stay at the same position?

Steps to reproduce:
1) Make a long note that spans several screen.
2) Insert a screen shot, or any picture of sort
3) Annotate with Skitch
4) Save (press Esc)

Expected: Screen stays at same place
Actual: Screen scrolls to top of the note.

System details:
OSX Yosemite: 10.10.4 (14E46)
Evernote: Version 6.4 (452971 App Store)

Hi.  I suggest you submit a bug report on this.  You won't necessarily get any follow-up,  but it does mean that the devs will take a look at your situation and (maybe) fix it in a future release...  submit a bug/ lost data report by choosing "report a bug..." in the first dropdown after logging in here > https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action

Long notes are a bit of an issue and much complained of elsewhere in the forums - shorter is (currently) better!
