Hi,

I'm using Evernote 3.0.0.518 (25526) on Vista Ultimate 32-bit.

Here are some bugs, missing features and/or annoyances I found:

It's not possible to encrypt the whole database/notebook. According to the "About" dialog, Evernote uses SQLite as the database. SQLite has the ability to encrypt the whole database with an additional (commercial, 2000$ one-time license) module: http://www.hwaci.com/sw/sqlite/prosupport.html#crypto

I'm missing some way to open the web account page directly from Evernote. Maybe a menu entry under "Account"?

The menu "View in Google Earth" is always enabled, even if no note is selected. I think it should be disabled if no note (or if no note with geo data) is selected.

The selection in note-list not full-line. The first column is not shown as selected (at least not on my XP in the office - it's fully selected here on Vista).

The crash report uses Windows Mail (on Vista), even though I'm using Thunderbird as my mail client. And TB is properly configured as the default mail client. Since I never even used Windows Mail, I couldn't send the crash report because there was no mail account set up in Windows Mail. The crash report tool should use the default client!

And one serious bug:

Shift-F10 does not show the context menu! Shift-F10 is a default windows key combination to show the context menu from the keyboard if no mouse is present or for users who don't like to use the mouse. Also see my post here: http://forum.evernote.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5302

About whole database encryption - you can use OS-level NTFS encryption to protect your data.

Default mail client should be set as default value for registry key Software\Clients\Mail. Not as mailto: handler or .eml handler.

Stefan, can you check what value is set in this registry key? Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
