Email not going to default notebook

When I forward an email (using gmail) to my Evernote email address the email goes to a "random" notebook - not the designated "default" I have selected under Setting:

Evernote / Preferences / General / By default, place new notes into the following notebook: @Inbox

My emails are going to a notebook named VOMisc.

Thank you for any insight to correct this.

For some incredibly stupid reason, Evernote has chosen to have the preference setting for this in a totally different, unexpected, location.

See your Personal Settings at Evernote.com, and uncheck "Auto-filing  [  ] Automatically file and tag notes sent in via email."
