thingstocome 0 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Hello Everyone,When I drag an Excel doc into Everynote is it copying the file into Evernote's database allowing me to then delete the original from my computer? Or is it just a reference link to the original file? Thanks for any info.
engberg 89 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 If you attach a file to a note, we keep our own copy in our database so that it's safe even if the original file is lost. (It's also synchronized to our servers.)If you double-click on that file inside Evernote to open and edit it, the changes go back into Evernote, but don't affect the original source file.
