EN Web Clipper for Safari Not Responding

Looks like something is wrong with the Evernote Clipper for Safari.
I just tried the below steps, and after reinstalling the EN Clipper, I could not get it do work.  When I click on the Evernote icon in the Safari toolbar, it does nothing, literally nothing.

I have tried installing the EN Clipper from both the EN web site, and from Safari Extensions.

My environment:

• Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
• Safari 9.0.2
• EN Web Clipper 6.5.1

I tried these steps, but after reinstalling the EN Clipper for Safari, I could not get it to work:

1. Open Safari
2. Open Safari Preferences (CMD + ,)
3. Click on the Extensions tab
4. Click on the "Evernote Web Clipper" in the left panel
5. Click on the "Uninstall" button for the Evernote Web Clipper
6. Click on the "Uninstall" button in the "Are you Sure..." dialong
7. Close Preferences
8. Close Safari
9. Restart your Mac
10. After you Mac starts and you log in:
11. Open Safari
12. Go to Evernote web site:
    https://evernote.com/products/
13. Scroll down to "Evernote Web Clipper"
14. Click on "Download for Safari"
15. Open your Mac Downloads folder (should be in your Mac Dock)
16. Select/Open "Evernote.6.6.safariextz"
17. Click the "Trust" button in the Safari dialog "Are you sure. . ."
18. Close the Safari Preferences window
19. Restart Safari
20. Test EN Clipper

I am having the same problem.  It was after I updated to El Capitan 10.11.3

I'm having the same problem -- web clipper stopped working. I'm on El Capitan 10.11.2 and Safari 9.0.2. I think it quit working this week, but I'm not sure what I updated. I honestly don't remember updating anything, so I'm not sure what broke it. Tried reinstalling the web clipper and restarting Safari but no luck.

I'm also having the same problem with Safari 9.0.3 on Mac OS 10.11.3 using clipper version 6.7.1, but bringing up the error console, I get this which I think shows that Safari is now deciding that extensions violate cross domain security:-

I managed to successfully clip from Amazon and the BBC yesterday so I don't think the Clipper has stopped working. Looks like some people are seeing issues though - would probably help if you all opened support tickets to help Evernote diagnose the problem.

+1. I love EN but there's definitely something wrong with the Web Clipper extension. Uninstalling/re-installing, clearing caches, signing in/out again, etc., and Safari would crash Safari (seg. fault) at least once a day, usually when opening a new tab.

Finally, I removed the EN Web Clipper altogether a few days ago and Safari has been rock solid since. I liked using the Web Clipper but if it crashes my browser it's not very useful.

I have been having issues clipping from pretty much every site (except EN pages). 

 

I opened the Error Console on Khan's Academy and after failing to clip around a million times was able to clip the article for some reason. It continues to work on that website now. On any other that I've tried it just doesn't respond at all.
