(Archived) Tip for people that want to use IM to send to evernote

I've just listened to the latest Evernote podcast, which mentioned that many users are keen on IM integration.

If you're a Google Talk user, there is a service called tweet.im that allows you to interact with Twitter through Google's IM service. Using this gateway, you can at least send tweets, links, ets to the myen Twitter account. It may not be full integration, with files and larger text and such, but it's something until the EN team whip up a real solution

speaking of IM...will this only work with GT?

what about skype or icq ?

Yup, it only works with GTalk (or more accurately, with Jabber-based services). No Skype, ICQ, MSN, etc.

Of course if you use a multiprotocol IM client like IM+, Digsby, Trillian, etc you'll be able to just add a gtalk account to it
