Revise Reddit Clipping Behavior

logam11

Idea

Evernote Web Clipper clips articles on Reddit very strangely. It defaults to the entire page, including all the noise of the menubar and sidebar. When I click the "minus" button to reduce the area, only the top menubar is highlighted. Web Clipper does a great job formatting articles for forums, just clipping away the relevant text. But someone needs to edit the code for Reddit. Surprising considering it's on the web's most popular websites.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Yes, please prioritize this issue.

Reddit is not an easy place to keep track of thing in the long term, so much good information to clip and organize in Evernote.

But the webclipper is dreadful for reddit. Mostly great on other sites (forums are always a little weird).

Main complaints (from premium user hint hint):

Clips all the junk at the top of the page ina way that goes from being a narrow horizontal area on the reddit page to very very long vertical section in Evernote.

Sometime but not always includes all the commnets.

Sometime ONLY includes the comments and not the main article.

Doesn't seem to be any way to predict or control it. Makes for a ton of note editing.

Thanks!

G
